The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emogene Kautz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Emogene was a delight to work with at The Globe. She devoted her working life to the newspaper. Outside of work, she was a committed volunteer in the community, who did so many things, from Forest of Friendship and the 99s to the Order of the Eastern Star. Atchison will miss all she did to enrich the community.

Condolence: What a joyful, kind, generous, talented lady! She was so interesting and giving of her time. I enjoyed all the moments we spent hosting at the Cray Museum. She spoke of her family frequently and she was no doubt very proud of them and loved them all dearly. Emogene had a wonderful soul.
