Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carol Wehking can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Thank you for being there for me

Death is something that is never understood no matter the circumstances.  It is, in fact, what led me to your family many years ago when my Dad died and you all became my foster family.  Being a 13 year old girl that had just lost the one person that was always there for me was devastating.  All of you took me in as one of your own and helped me each day with your love, laughter and complete orneriness.  Not a day throughout my stay did you not make sure there was laughter and love.  Seeing the way your family unit was had an impact on me and helped me build the foundation of the way I have raised my children and making sure there is always love, laughter and total orneriness.  Carol and Lisa were already “earth angels” and now they have gotten their wings.  My heart weeps for you that are left behind trying to make sense of something that should not have happened.  You all will forever hold a very special place in my heart and I want to thank you for taking in that scared, heartbroken child I was and making life the best it could be.  God be with you in this horrible time and know that my thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

Love always,

Shelly
