Before I married Brian, Anne's son. I usually spent every weekend in Atchison & would bring my son Josh with me often. On a Saturday when Brian had to work, I spent the entire day with my soon to be mother in law Anne. We cooked all day long, I shared my moms cheesecake recipie with Anne & she shared hers. So we decided to make both. They were both delicious & we had fun making cheesecake & pasta. Then we shared about 4 pots of coffee that day laughing, bonding & getting to know one another. We always went to church every saturday night together when I came down on the weekends. She had strong faith like myself so we bonded talking about God as well. So when I reflect back on my ex mother in law, I remember her love for her children, God, coffee & cooking. She was a pretty women & her nails were always done. Then it was my beautiful daughters turn to go down to atchison with daddy, Jo loved spending time with her beloved grandma & will cherish every moment she had with her as well.
