Memories Never Forgotten

I have told you girls often that your Dad held a special place in my heart. He was my other big brother. He worked hard, was loving, kind but stern and fair. I remember all the times he took us to Bean & Sugar lake (unbeknownst to Grandma Sullivan) the trips to the zoo & carnival at Klam Park. He'd drop us off & pick us up at the Granada theater, always first run pictures! He would let me have parties at your house but shut it down when Louie spilled his pop can & it was beer...that German temper!! He'd laugh when we spent the night & I had rearranged the furniture in your mom & his bedroom, many times he sat on the floor & would say "Rhonda must be here, I never know where the bed will be!" I remember him scaring the s#&t; out of Louie in the GTX, Louie thought his own car was fast...not after the ride in the GTX!! He even raved about my chili & tacos! It broke my heart when your mom & him split up, I lost a brother. He & my memories will remain in my heart forever. My heart is heavy at the loss of this man, a man that I respected & loved for many years. Rest in Peace & God Bless you Don. You are loved & missed by many. Peace my brother.
