Jeff Michael McBride, 44 of Lawrence, KS passed away on September 18, 2015 at his residence.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Rev. Maryann Eiberger, will officiate the service. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials in honor of Jeff are suggested to ones charity of choice. Jeff was born March 31, 1971 in Atchison, KS the son of Sarah (Creager) and Dennis McBride. Jeff graduated from Valley Falls High School where he lettered in Basketball and track all four years. He attended Emporia State University and worked for Hallmark Cards. He was an avid reader and fan of the Jayhawks and Huskers. He also enjoyed cycling, primarily mountain biking. He was an amazing Uncle (commonly referred to as UJ) as he brought great joy to his nieces and nephew through his humor and kindness. He brightened the holidays with his thoughtfulness and generosity.

Survivors include parents Sarah and Dennis McBride, Valley Falls, KS; sister, Angela (Mark) Leggio, Bloomington, IN; a nephew, Alec (Amanda) Leggio, Bloomington, IN; two nieces, Avery and Andersen Leggio, Bloomington, IN and an Uncle Bob Creager.
