Stanley Oliver Seever
Stanley O. Seever, 86, of Atchison KS died Sunday, Feb. 8th, 2015 at the Atchison Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 11th, 2015 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 10th, 2015 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church. Stanley was born on March 12, 1928 in Rushville, MO the son of O.P and Rosa (McQueen) Seever. Stanley worked as a machinist at the former LFM Manufacturing, Rockwell International and then for K.W. Dart. He also would buy, repair and sell Ford tractors, and farm machinery. He farmed as a hobby and enjoyed visiting with people as he didn’t know a stranger. He also enjoyed taking family vacations and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Mr Seever was a member of the First Christian Church, Atchison, where he had served as a Elder, and was presently Elder emeritus.
He was married to Robena Nickels on July 4, 1948 in Effingham, KS. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include three daughters; Carolyn (Ron) Kuhn, Olathe, KS, Helen Ashton, Horton, KS., and Rosalie( Rex) Fox, Topeka, KS., two brothers, Harold Seever, Atchison, KS and Ralph Seever, Lowemont, KS , a sister, Mary Zimmerman, Westwood, KS., six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. His parents, a son-in-law, Dennis “Ben” Ashton, and a sister, Orveta Larson preceded him in death.
