Bob E.  Bottorff
Bob E. Bottorff, 78, of Lancaster, KS. died Sat.Sept. 6, 2014 at the Atchison Hospital after an apparent heart attack at his home while doing yard work.

Private family graveside services and burial will be at a later date in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. The body has been cremated and no visitation or services will be held according to his wishes. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church or the Mark Bottorff Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements. Bob was born on August 22, 1936 in Clarksdale, MO the son of Pliny and Gertrude (Barringer) Bottorff. He graduated from Benton High School, St. Joseph, MO. in 1954. He worked as a brick layer for F.P. Gehring before owning and operating his own B & B Construction Company. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church, Atchison, KS , the Elks, and the Atchison Yacht Club. He enjoyed doing yard work, boating, camping, gardening, and his dogs.

He was married to Glenda Duncan on June 4, 1955 at the Carol Baptist Church, Atchison, KS. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include a daughter, Gayle Theurer, Atchison, KS., two sons, Scott (Denise) Bottorff, Platte City, Mo., and Brad (Kim) Bottorff, Atchison, KS., a daughter in law, Linda Bottorff, Lancaster, KS., a brother Larry Bottorff, St. Joseph, MO, Eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. His parents, a son, Mark Bottorff, nine brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.
