Sam, Stacey, Michael and grandchildren,

I was saddened to read today's paper and to find that Susan had died. Having lived nextdoor for over forty years, Susan and I often visited over the fence about our children, grandchildren and her beautiful yard and garden. We recently visited about her surgery in St. Louis. I'll never forget her voice as she worked in the yard with "Chuck" and while she tended to her animals. Our neighborhood has lost a wonderful person.

Was saddened to see that your wife had passed away. I know it must be difficult at this time. Just knew her a little due to my working with you at SRS, but she seemed to be a nice lady and good mother. I will lift a prayer to God for His comfort and care for you and your family.
