Sharon Kay Jones, 80, of Atchison, Kansas died Friday, June 17, 2022, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Sharon was born November 18, 1941, in Sparks, Ks to James M. and Opal P. (Harness) Frasher. She married Larry Dean Jones Sr., and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2009. She was a homemaker and then when her children were grown, she worked a para teacher at the North East Kansas Education center in Oskaloosa, KS, Keystone Learning Services Para educator at ACCHS and Acheivement Services in Atchison. In her spare time, she loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sewing, flowers, watching her hummingbirds and playing with her beloved dog and cat (Bella/Jinks).
She is survived by her sons; Larry (Carol) Jones, Christopher (Mallory) Jones, Scott (Amber) Jones and Rex (Misty) Jones, One daughter; Teresa (Derek) Gillmore; thirteen Grandchildren and eighteen Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Jim and Charles (Chucky) Jones, brothers James and Harold Frasher and sister Wanda Hernandez-Stewart.
