Ronald E. “Ronnie” Garrison, Jr., 51, of Kansas City, MO, loving father of three, died unexpectedly Friday, November 5th, 2021 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home in Atchison, KS. Ronnie was born March 31, 1970 in Winchester, KS the son of Ronald E. Garrison, Sr. and Janice K. (Overton) Garrison. He graduated from Platte County R-III High School in 1989. He earned a Marketing and Sales Degree from Platte County R-III Vocational-Technical School and an Associate’s Degree in Business from Maple Woods Community College. Ron worked for Magna Intier Automotive in Excelsior Springs for thirteen years, American Tire Distributors for six years, and as a driver for various companies in Kansas City. Ronnie raised three children and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed vacationing in Colorado going snow skiing, rafting, and hiking and in the Florida Keys going snorkeling and spending time on the beach. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, working on hot rod cars, going to concerts, and listening to music.
Ronnie is survived by his father Ronald E. Garrison, Sr. (Brenda Grant), Atchison, KS , his mother Janice K. Garrison, Kansas City, MO, a son Tyler Garrison, Liberty, MO, two daughters Courtney Garrison, Kansas City, MO, and Nikki Garrison, Liberty, MO, a sister Shelly Garrison, Kansas City, MO, and three grandchildren.
