Obituary for Kristen Janine Lesperance
Kristen Janine Lesperance, 43, of Oskaloosa, KS passed away following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Tuesday, Feb. 28th, 2023, at the Heritage Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center, Oskaloosa, KS.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Kristen was born on Jan. 25, 1980, in Shawnee, KS the daughter of Larry and Laura A. (Brewster) Lesperance. She earned her high school diploma and worked in retail stores and area nursing homes as a certified nursing assistant while attending KCKCC Nursing School for her LPN license. Kristen enjoyed canoeing, horseback riding, and helping her brother with carpentry work.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Debbie Lesperance, Nortonville, KS, three brothers Christopher (Adriene) Drimmel, NC, Curtis (Tammy) Drimmel, NC, and Jeremy (Lacee) Drimmel, Effingham, KS, a sister Kathy (Eric) Broce, Arkansas City, KS, and several nieces and nephews. Her mother Laura, and brother Ronald A. Lesperance, preceded her in death.
