John Diffley, 63, of Nortonville, KS, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Graveside service and burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, April 4, 2022, at Larkinburg Cemetery, Holton, KS, with Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home 800 Kansas Ave, Atchison, KS. John was born March 28, 1959, in Atchison, KS, the son of John E. and June A. (Harness) Diffley. He worked for various companies throughout the years, such as the Saunders Mop Factory, Atchison Leather products and was an Automotive Technician for Orr Radiator. John enjoyed cars, fishing, races, antiques, flea markets, casinos and spending time with family at cookouts and holidays especially 4th of July parties.
John is survived by his siblings, Anita Dennis, Gardner, KS, Carolyn Barber, San Angelo, TX, Rebecca Diffley, Kansas City, KS, David and Cheryl Diffley, Roscoe, MO, Keith and Diane Diffley, Lawrence, KS, a brother-in-law, Ray Smith, Neveda, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded by his parents, a sister Pamela Smith, a brother Kevin Diffley and a niece.
