Jacob was born on August 26, 1942 to Jacob Ronald Reiff and Ruby (Bates) Reiff in Gypsum, KS. Jacob married Rita Betts on August 1, 1980 in Miami, Oklahoma. He worked for Rockwell International until he retired after 33 years. He enjoyed woodworking, painting yard statues, gardening, building go-karts for his grandchildren, and a collector of knifes, clocks and eagles.
He is survived by his sons Charles (Crystal) Reiff, Atchison, Ks, Troy (Vicki) Reiff, Atchison, KS and Preston Reiff, Kansas City, MO. His daughters Jenny (Casey Chappell) Goodman, Effingham, KS, Rhonda Wheeler and Anita Reiff both of Topeka, KS. Two sisters Elizabeth Fisher, Topeka, KS, and Georgetta Como of Lenexa, KS. Seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded by his father, mother, wife, sister Sharon Priddy and son Ronald L. Reiff.
