Obituary for Goldie Belle Smyth (Snopak)

Goldie Belle Smyth, 95, formerly of Atchison, KS passed away on June 19, 2019 in Pampa, TX.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, with Rev. Jim Cormode officiating. Burial will follow at the Sumner Cemetery. Goldie was born August 5, 1923, the daughter of James and Ellen (Miller) Snopak. She attended the Wieman School. Goldie worked as a housekeeper for Mount Saint Scholastica and then for the Kansas Industry for the Blind. She was a member of the Kansas Association of the Visual and Hearing impaired. Goldie enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Goldie married Victor Smyth on May 8, 1971. He preceded he in death on November 25, 2010. She is survived by one sister Helen Flory, Potter, KS, two daughters Louise and Ron Popplewell, Groom, TX , Diane William Craine, Waldron, MO, ten grandchildren twenty great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
