Evert Arnold Ramsey, 78, of Quartzsite, AZ, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 15, 2021, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, with Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to C.O.P. D. Evert was born April 25, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of Roy Lee and Alberta (Hunt) Ramsey. He was a Senior Field Operator for Questar Pipeline Company. Evert was member of BPOE Elks Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Green River, WY, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Evert married Beverly June Marie Morris on January 23, 1965, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Atchison, KS. Survivors include a son A. Wayne Ramsey, Atchison, KS, a brother, Richard and Lynn Pennington, Atchison, KS and a sister, Margaret and Bill Wilson, Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul Pennington.
