Obituary for Cody Wayne Kley
Cody Wayne Kley, 30 years old of Lancaster, Kansas, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Cody was born on July 22, 1990 in Atchison. He graduated from Atchison High School and had worked in construction for his family’s business. However, Cody’s passion was working for himself as a mechanic, building and repairing cars. Cody loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, being outdoors, going four-wheeling with his uncles and he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Cody is survived by his daughter, Addison Kley of Atchison; his mother, Kristi McCray of Lancaster; his aunts, Peggy Roberts, Rondia Moss and Clowie Kley; his uncles, Roger ‘Kelly’ Kley, Jr, Shannon Kley and Handsome Kley, and numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Ziegler, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Atchison. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, at the funeral home.
