Mark Alan Hoffman, 57, of Nortonville, KS died Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home in Nortonville, KS.

Private family graveside services will be at a later date at the Nortonville Cemetery. The O’Trimble Chapel, Nortonville is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions are suggested for Huntington’s Disease Research and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Mark was born on December 5, 1960 in Topeka, KS the son of Jack & Beverly (Bomhoff) Hoffman. He graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1979. He attended college in Coffeyville, and then graduated from Colorado Aviation Technology School. Mark worked as an aviation mechanic for Vance Airfield, Enid, OK, Beechcraft, Wichita, KS, and Billard Airfield, Topeka, KS. He later worked for USD 341, in Oskaloosa, KS as the Transportation supervisor. Mark was a former member of the Lions Club, Nortonville and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles.

Survivors include two sons, Blake (Chelsey) Hoffman, Nortonville, KS and grandson Kaden, Brian (Kirsten) Weishaar, Lawrence, KS, and granddaughters, Kamryn & Lennon, a daughter, Gina(Johnny) Durkes, McLouth, KS and grandsons, Brayden and Landen, two brothers, Phil (Sherri) Hoffman, Nortonville, KS, and Marty (Liz) Hoffman, Winchester, KS. His parents and sister, Dawn Hoffman preceded him in death.
