Obituary for Christopher Lee Dotson
Christopher Lee Dotson, 41, of Atchison, KS passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 13, 2018 at the Atchison Hospital.
Memorial service will 3:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Champ officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Cayden Dotson Education Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Christopher was born on September 17, 1976 the son of Terry and Tammy (Hendrix) Dotson. He graduated from Atchison High School in 1996 and attended Pittsburg State College. Christopher worked for the JA Lillig, Excavating as a 101 Union heavy construction operator. He recently started his own Painting company. Christopher enjoyed motorcycles and loved sports, he loved coaching his son and other kids, whether it be wrestling, baseball, football, he thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Atchison school’s sports.
Christopher is survived by his son, Cayden Dotson of the home. His mother; Tammy Dotson and Robert Servaes, Rushville, MO, his father Terry Dotson, Atchison, KS, maternal grandparents Carol and Dave Jeffrey, St. Joseph, MO, paternal grandparents, Jo Ann Dotson, Atchison, KS and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his dog Miss Bella.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Dotson.
