Condolences

Condolence From: Rusty Willis
Condolence: It can't possibly be a year. I know nothing will ever make things better, but he is on my mind always. My first thought at pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring Training was of Tanner.

No matter how long I am lucky enough to be on this Earth, I will carry his memory with me and take him along.

If there's anything I can ever do, please let me know.

Ms. Willis

Condolence: Tanner has been like a son to us for the past several years. He was an amazing friend to Sam. Sam was always shy and not very out going. Tanner lifted him up and encouraged him in every way. Our hearts are broken and a piece of them will always be missing. We cannot imagine the pain you are going through and you will all be in our thoughts and prayers every day. You raised an awesome son and we loved him very much.

Condolence: My family and I always enjoyed seeing Tanner and his smile at the Red Ravens baseball games when the boys played. He was always so friendly and encouraging towards the boys. So very sorry for your loss. ~Prayers~

Condolence: From the moment he walked into my 8th grade English class, Tanner learned pretty quickly that we shared the love of baseball. He knew if he got me talking about baseball, and the Royals, he could put off our English assignment for the day... and I loved every minute of it. I feel honored that I went through the Royals World Series run with Tanner to talk to about it every morning.

He was the first one to ask me how my day was going, or to offer to help me with anything I needed. He worked hard and impressed me, not only with his work ethic, but his great heart, on a daily basis.

Every time I look at the Royals shrine in my classroom from now on, I will think of him and his smiling face, and how much he made every day better.

My heart aches for the loss of Tanner. He was an amazing young man. I cannot imagine seeing a baseball and not thinking of his smiling face. Prayers to you all.
