Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fred 'Fritz' Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to send my sympathies to the Smith family. I know the Anniversary of your dear loved one is approaching, so I was thinking about you. No doubt over the course if time you've reminisced about the memories that you've had with, and maybe that has brought to mind some sadness and lingering grief. Keep in mind the beautiful hope that is found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This means that you and I have a chance to see our dear loved ones again, to be reunited with them right here on the earth, as God purposed. (Psalm 37:11,29) My thoughts and prayers will continue will continue with your family.

Condolence: Fritz and my father, Harry Ham, were good friends from way back. They were teammates on the Atchison football team - my Dad blocked for Fritz, whom he remembers as a great running back. They went to KU together. We had lunch with Fritz several years ago while visiting Atchison. My Dad and Fritz shared many wonderful memories. My Dad is now in a nursing home in Indianapolis. He offers his sympathies to Fritz's family and records his fondness for his old friend.

Condolence: Dear Smith family, you all have my sympathy. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your Mom and Dad when I lived in Atchison and saw them regularly at church or when I watched their house whole they were out of town. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
