Victoria Louise Morgan, 92, of Atchison KS died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Atchison Senior Village Nursing Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19th, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Church with Abbot Barnabas Senecal, O.S.B as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Maur-Hill Mount Academy and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the services. Victoria Louise Sonnenmoser was born on Nov. 20, 1923 in Weston, MO the daughter of Rudolph and Grace (Harpst) Sonnenmoser. She graduated from Mt. St. Scholastica Academy in 1941. Mrs. Morgan was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of the St. Benedict's Church, the Little Flower Circle, Senior Citizens, and Raven’s Respect Life. She enjoyed letter writing to her children and grandchildren, and traveling.

She was married to Theodore Morgan on March 5, 1946 in Atchison. Mr. Morgan preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1996. Survivors include three sons, Theodore Morgan, Jr, Colorado Springs, CO, Daniel A. Morgan, Weston, MO, Russ Morgan, Roeland Park, KS, five daughters, Marie Genoni, St. Louis, MO, Rita Brungardt, Kansas City, MO, Patricia Reinhoehl, St. Joseph, MO, Trudy Hensley Florence, KY and Angela Morgan, Albuquerque, NM, and one sister, Anna Lawlor, Columbia, IL and many grand and great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, Theodore, son, Jerome P. Morgan, and seven brothers, John, Joseph, Rudolph, Otto, David, Lewis, Phillip, and Warren Sonnenmoser preceded her in death.
