Esther A. Morris, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Atchison, KS, on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Atchison, with Fr. Jeremy Heppler, OSB, officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm, Tuesday, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Croix Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Words of comfort and remembrance may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Esther was born on September 11, 1926, in Nemaha County, NE, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Hahn) Stiles. Esther was married to Joseph Morris on April 3, 1943 in Troy, KS. Esther was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother to her children. Esther was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Atchison.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Morris Ramsey, Kirkland, AZ; daughter-in-law, Nancy Christman, Wathena, KS; five grandchildren, Arnold Ramsey, Jason Christman, Candi Christmas Edwards, Angie Taylor and Danielle Brull; ten great-grandchildren.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; one son, Daniel Morris; sisters, Hazel Carr, Marie Kidd, and Helen Manus.
