Obituary for Rose Ann Smith (Ebbs)

Rose Ann Smith, 84, Nortonville, passed away on Sat. Oct. 15, 2016 at her home.

No services are planned at this time and Mrs. Smith has been cremated under the direction of the O’Trimble Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Atchison County or Jefferson County Humane Societies, and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Rose was born on October 19, 1931, in Atchison, KS the daughter of Charles William and Minnie (Lungwitz) Ebbs. She enjoyed her dogs, life on the farm and her flowers.
She was married to John “Jack” W. Smith in 1948 in Atchison at the First Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gary (Betty) Smith, Valley Falls, KS and Michael Smith, Topeka, KS, two daughters, Sheryl Smith, Atchison, and Vicki (Dean) Graner, Grand Cane, LA, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
