Tamra Elaine Gibson, 57, of Atchison KS died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016 at her home.
Memorial services will be 7:30pm on Tuesday, Sept. 6th, 2016 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Cline officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30pm until time of service at the funeral home. The body has been cremated and private family burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at the Round Mound Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Faith Valley Church of God and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family maybe left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Tamra was born on Nov. 6, 1958 in Atchison KS the daughter of Lloyd “Gene” and Sharon J. (Thompson) Gibson. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1976. She was a housekeeper and worked for a House Cleaning service in Topeka, KS before being disabled and unable to work. She was a member of the Faith Valley Church of God, Atchison, KS where she was active in helping with child care and many other church activities. She was a Y.M.C.A. member and enjoyed watching television.

Survivors include her parents, Lloyd “Gene” and Sharon J. Gibson, of the home, a son, David Gibson, Ellsworth, KS, two brothers, Randy (Lisa) Gibson, Easton, KS, and Brad (Dorothy) Gibson, Atchison, KS, a granddaughter, DaHara Gibson, Topeka, KS.
