The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Roy Lassen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to express my sympathies to the Lassen family. I know that the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Roy, is coming up, and I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences one can endure. However, all hope is not lost. There is a beautiful hope for our dear loved ones found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones who have died. As you think about the good memories you've had with Roy, reflect on the wonderful time when you can welcome him back with open arms in a Paradise on earth. (Psalm 37:11)

Condolence: I first met Roy at the Atchison sale barn and over the years spent a lot of Saturday mornings sitting beside him for breakfast. My Saturday morning breakfasts at the sale barn are something I look forward to and especially spending time with our usual group that included Roy. Roy will be missed and our table atmosphere will never be the same. I will miss Roy's presence, humor and overall warm and charming personality.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Lassen family. I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience, and it can leave us crushed in spirit. However, at Isaiah 57:15, here Almighty God Jehovah says, "I reside in the high and holy place, but also with those crushed and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of those being crushed." God notices your suffering, and through his purpose he has provided a beautiful resurrection hope that you can have faith in. (John 5:28,29)
