The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Darlene Durfee can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Brittany
Condolence: I wanted to express my sympathies to the Durfee family. I know that the Anniversary of your dear loved one, Darlene, is coming up, and I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. The loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences one can endure. However, all hope is not lost. There is a beautiful hope for our dear loved ones found in God's Word, the Bible. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones who have died. As you think about the good memories you've had with Darlene, reflect on the wonderful time when you can welcome her back with open arms in a Paradise on earth. (Psalm 37:11)

My sympathy on the death of Darlene. What a nice person she was. Such a long life and so difficult for her in recent years. May she rest in peace and peace and comfort to all of her family.

Condolence: My condolences to the Durfee family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience. However, God's Word tells us at Revelation 21:4 that "death will be no more." Death has caused an abundance of unwanted tears and sadness. However, Jehovah God will soon eliminate the grip that death has on us, and will give us the beautiful hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29) One day soon, the last enemy death, will be "brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26)
