Lois Marie Wilbourn, 79, of Effingham, KS died Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at the Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.

Memorial services will be Friday April 8, 2016 at 2pm at the Becker Chapel in Effingham, KS with Rev Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, at the Becker Chapel in Effingham, KS. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cal Farley Boys and Girls Ranch and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Lois was born on Sept. 18, 1936 in Atchison KS the daughter of Joseph B. and Blance A. (Justice) Tull.
She worked as a nurse’s aide for several years in nursing homes and spent most of her life as a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed cross-word puzzles, word search’s puzzles, raising flowers, and fishing.

Lois was married to David Wilbourn on Nov 19, 1955 in New Albany, MS. Mr. Wilbourn survives of the home. Additional survivors include five sons: David (Grace) Wilbourn ,Effingham KS, Josh (Debbie) Wilbourn, Effingham, KS, Troy (Janice) Wilbourn, Atchison, KS, John (Fiancé Penny Stirton) Wilbourn, Effingham, KS, and Gabe (Katie) Wilbourn, Lancaster, KS, two daughters: Mischell (Tom) Herrig, Leavenworth, KS, Maryann (Late-James) Murray, Effingham, KS, two brothers: Howard Tull, Farmington, KS and William Tull, Effingham, KS , one sister: Thelma “Sue” Minard, Atchison, KS, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and one grandchild.
