Obituary for Rose Ellen Faught (Clem)

Rose E. Faught, 76, of Cummings, KS died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, KS.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Doniphan Cemetery, Doniphan, KS. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 pm Friday, Sept. 25th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Rose E. Clem was born on Oct. 17, 1938 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Edgar R. and Minnie (Tull) Clem. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1956 and went to the American Academy of Hair Design. Rose worked as a hairdresser at the Cottage of Hair Design, Nortonville, KS. She had also worked at the former Arensberg Grocery Store and Lincoln Grain. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Atchison, KS, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Rebekah Lodge, the Elks , Lancaster Homemakers Club, and the Monrovia Sunshine Club .Rose was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo, and crafts dancing and her grandchildren

Rose was married to John W. Faught on April 17, 1959 at the First Christian Church, Atchison KS. Mr. Faught preceded her in death in June, 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Shelly D. (Michael) Noll, Cummings, KS, a brother, Raymond Clem, Atchison, and a sister, Mary Wilburn, Atchison, KS, three grandchildren, Jason, Leanne, and Julie, two step grandchildren, Nicholas & Lisa, ten great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. Her parents, three brothers, Ralph, Robert, Frank Clem, and two sisters, Doris Regan and Deloris Bonnel also preceded her in death.
