Ronald “Huck” A. Hagen, 74, Atchison, KS, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at Atchison Hospital, Atchison, KS.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Landis, OSB as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2015 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS with visitation following until 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Ronald was born January 23, 1941 in Winchester, KS the son of Robert and Eva (Kramer) Hagen. Ronald worked for Atchison Castings for forty plus years. He liked to hunt, fish, watch basketball and Royals baseball. Ron was a KU fan and enjoyed giving Lavelle lots of trouble. He especially loved his family.

Ronald married Helen Madden on November 30, 1963. She preceded him in death in December 1997. Survivors include his partner Lavelle Wolfe of the home, two sons; Terry (Laurie) Hagen, Houston TX, Carl Hagen, Atchison, KS, a daughter; Mary (Bobby Martin)Wentworth, Atchison, KS, a sister; Rita Rumery, Seward, NE, five grandchildren; Matthew, Shane, Cassandra, Taleah, Kathryn, one great grandchild; Carter.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.
