Rosie Maxine “Mickey” Repstine, 90, of Cummings, KS died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 11th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Lou Davies officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Camp Creek United Methodist Church or the Camp Creek Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home. Maxine was born on March 20, 1925 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Elzie and Mildred (Turner) Walker. She attended the Roosevelt and Washington Grade Schools and graduated from Atchison High School in 1943. She had been employed at the former Fritz Overall Company and at Woolworths. She was married to Charles Repstine on Dec. 28, 1947 at the First Baptist Church, Atchison. They moved to a farm where they made their home. Mrs. Repstine was a farm wife who loved to work with the hogs. She was a member of the Camp Creek United Methodist Women, and the Camp Creek Unit both in 1948. She was a Fifty year member of the Unit and served as Secretary, and Treasurer of the United Methodist Women. She also served as a Sunday School Teacher and mowed the Camp Creek Cemetery for many years. Maxine also helped with the Atchison County Fair in the Foods Department.

Mrs. Repstine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Repstine in May, 1998, a son, Ronald Carl Repstine, her parents, and a brother, Edward Walker. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Ann Repstine, Cummings, KS, and Marilyn Kay Odell, Overland Park KS., one grandson, Eric (Sandra) Odell, and a special friend and caregiver, Ruth Moeck, Atchison.
