Betty Louise Pierce, 82, of Atchison Kansas died Friday, February 27, 2015 peacefully at her home, and joined her loving husband and family in heaven.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Thursday, March 5h, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. David Ballast, Pastor of the Living Water Church, Oskaloosa officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Atchison KS. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm on Thursday until time of service at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Betty L. Wolfe was born on Oct. 15, 1932 in Horton, Kansas the daughter of Edward and Lena (Larson) Wolfe. She worked as a housewife and homemaker and was a lifelong resident of Atchison. Mrs. Pierce was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting, gardening and riding the lawn mower.

She was married to Kenneth V. Pierce on July 8, 1950. Mr. Pierce preceded her in death on May 18, 2002, her parents, three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Kenneth V. Pierce, Jr., St. Joseph, MO., a daughter, Sharon Worley, Atchison, KS., two grandsons; David M. Worley, and John M.(Dawn) Worley, both of Atchison, KS, and seven great grandchildren.
