Brock Anthony "Tony"  Tolson
Brock Anthony ‘Tony’ Tolson, 39, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Mosiac Life Care Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 2, at the First Christian Church, 7th and Santa Fe Sts., Atchison. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa, KS. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request donations be made to help with the funeral expenses. Words of comfort and remembrance may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com

Brock was born February 18, 1976 in Winchester, KS, the son of Cheryl Todd Tolson of Oskaloosa, KS, and Winferd (Butch) Stroud, Jr. of Kansas City, KS. He moved to Atchison in 1983 at the age of seven with his mother and brother and attended Atchison Public Schools. Following Brock’s graduation from the Northeast Kansas Area Vo-Tech certified Nurses Aid Program, he worked in nursing homes in Atchison, Oskaloosa, Easton and Winchester, KS. Brock was a caring person who loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved music of all kinds especially gospel, dance and R&B. He also played saxophone and trumpet.

Brock is survived by his brothers, Sean Tolson and Mario Kelley, both of Atchison; Step-father, Marion (Bud) Kelley; a special uncle, Walter Boldridge, Jr.; special sisters and brothers, Teri Boldridge-Koehler, Sonya Boldridge, Patty Boldridge, Richard Boldridge, Charles Zishka, Kim Duncan; step-brothers, Michael Kelley, Sr., Marcus Kelley, Sr., Marion Kelley, Jr.; step-sisters, Rela Kelley, Roxanna McMillian-Kelley and Roslaind Stillman and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Brock was preceded in death by his Parents and Grandparents.
