Obituary for Cheryl Sue Carr (Wagner)

Cheryl Sue Carr, 64, of Atchison, KS died Monday, Jan. 26th, 2015 at the Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka, KS.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Friday, Jan. 30th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison KS with Pastor Stephan Lucas officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm Thursday, Jan 29th, 2015 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Condolences and memories to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Cheryl Sue Wagner was born on Feb. 6, 1950 in Atchison KS the daughter of Laurence and Adele (Bruce) Wagner. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1968. She worked as a secretary for the Glen Stecher CPA Firm for approx fifteen years before spending the rest of her life as a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Faith Bible Fellowship Church. Cheryl enjoyed collecting snow men, and cook books. Her family says that she was a good cook and also enjoyed reading, and playing the piano.

Cheryl was married to Robert C. “Bob” Carr on Dec. 15, 1984 at the Carol Baptist Church, Atchison KS.
He survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons; Matthew Carr, Blue Springs, MO., and Steven Carr, Atchison KS, two daughters; Sharon Carr, Atchison, KS, and Danielle Carr, Stillwater, OK, two sisters; Eleanor (Roy) Faught, Effingham, KS., and Kay (Phil) Laurie, Topeka, KS., two grandchildren; Landen and Peyton Carr, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and a brother, Bob Wagner, preceded her in death.
