Obituary for Anita Mae Evans (Sinclair)

Anita M. Evans, 73, of Everest, KS, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. MO.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 7, 2014 at Faith Bible Fellowship, with Pastor Stephen Lucas officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Atchison KS. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with the final expenses and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.

Anita was born January 15, 1941 in Olewein, IA, the daughter of Lester and Helen (Brant) Sinclair. She graduated from ACCHS in 1960. Anita was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship. She enjoyed going to church, singing and reading the Bible.

Anita married Kenneth W. “Bud” Evans on June 7, 1960. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2007. Survivors include two sons; Darrel Evans, Huron KS, Donald Evans, Huron, KS, a daughter; Diane and Michael Sleep, Topeka, KS, three sisters; Margaret Whitney, Horton, KS, Aleta Harris, Atchison, KS, Priscilla Hill, Atchison, KS, a granddaughter; Kahla Evans, Topeka, KS, and two great grandchildren; Kenneth and Averiyonna Evans-Sleep.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother; Roger Sinclair.
