Obituary for John V. "Vince" Aspinwall

John “Vince” Aspinwall, 40, of Valley Falls, KS died in an automobile accident on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014 on K-4 Highway south of Valley Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville KS with Fr Lazar Carasala as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Nortonville. A parish rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm followed by visitation until 8:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 10th at the St. Joseph Church, Nortonville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Vince was born on July 4, 1974 in Atchison, Kansas the son of John and Susan (Wistuba) Aspinwall. He graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1992 and had taken diesel mechanic training at NE KS Vo-technical school. Vince worked as an operator for LEXECO, Leavenworth, and previously Hamm Co, Perry, KS. He attended St. Joseph Church, Nortonville, was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 242, Nortonville, KS and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed playing pool, operating a trac hoe, farming, spending time with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his parents, John and Susan Aspinwall, Nortonville, KS., a son, Hunter Blake Aspinwall, Valley Falls, KS., a brother, Robert (Lindsay) Aspinwall, Nortonville, KS., two sisters, Shauna (Steve) Logan, Leavenworth, KS., and Lora (Johnny) Weishaar, Nortonville, KS., three nieces and five nephews.
