Eleanor E. Fultz, 85, of Atchison, KS, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Heartland Regional Hospital, St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 2, 2014 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, with Rev. Lee Hendon officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Monday September1, 2014, at the funeral home. Eleanor was born April 9, 1929 in Horton, KS the daughter of W. Sidney and Chrystabel (Pinder) Shoebrook. She graduated from Huron High School in 1947. Eleanor worked at Huron Telephone Company as an operator, Wilson Poultry Company, Chillicothe Business College in the cafeteria, Horton Garment Factory in Atchison as a bundle girl and Atchison Medicalodge in housekeeping. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Atchison, KS, enjoyed crocheting, cross stitch.

Eleanor married Billy Fultz on August 5, 1948 in Atchison, KS, he survives of the home. Additional survivors include a daughter, Ruby and Robert Huhn, Oklahoma City, OK, a sister; Dorothy Hill, Atchison, KS, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister; Francis Shoebrook.
