Pamela Sue Blair, 58 of Atchison lost her life in a car accident, Friday, July 25, 2014.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, Atchison, KS with Rev. Rachel Dannar officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Atchison, KS. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS. Memorials are suggested to the Atchison YMCA and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Words of comfort to the family may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Pam was born June 6, 1956, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Les and Betty (Fordyce) Hixon. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1973. Pam was Vice President at Blair Milling, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and a past Theatre Atchison board member. She enjoyed taking workout classes at the YMCA, being outdoors in the sun, planting flowers or being at the Lake of the Ozarks. “Mammy” especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Pam was first married Mark Coyle, and later to William “Bill” Blair on October 10, 1992 in Atchison, KS. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2012. Survivors include a son; Clinton and Brandi Coyle, Kansas City, MO, a daughter; Katie and Chad Bilderback, Atchison, KS, a brother; John and Lynn Hixon, Atchison, KS, two sisters; Deborah Hixon, Kansas City, MO, Liz and Joe Bogovich, Silver Spring, MD, grandchildren; Aiden, Jackson, Blair Bilderback, Atchison KS and baby Coyle on the way.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
